INDUSTRY:

Agriculture is the main industry and export earner in St Vincent. Bananas are the main crop, however St Vincent is also the world's leading producer of arrowroot. Other exotic fruit, vegetables and root crops are also grown.

The fishing sector has received infrastructure investment and a processing complex has been built.

Tourism is the other main sector of the economy and is growing rapidly.

There is also a small manufacturing sector and an offshore financial services industry.
