INDUSTRY:

The mainstay of Cuba’s economy is agriculture namely sugar production. Other agricultural products include tobacco, citrus, coffee, rice, potatoes and beans. Some livestock is also raised.

Tourism is also an important foreign exchange earner in Cuba’s economy and is continuing to grow.

The Cuban oil industry is also growing and investment is encouraged to continue this program of growth.
